Support, Recovery, and Resilience

To combat the devastating impact on the Altadena/Pasadena and Pacific Palisades communities due to the wildfires that occurred in January of 2025, an additional $3 million was granted by the state and amended the Catalyst contract to include deliverables pertaining to the wildfires.

All deliverables are currently underway, supported by collaborative partnerships between the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC), California Community Foundation (CCF), LA County's Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), the City of Los Angeles, and the Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz).

Announcing the 2025 Wildfire Recovery and Resilience Grantees

We are proud to announce the recipients of the Wildfire Recovery and Resilience (WRR) initiative, a $1 million funding effort dedicated to supporting long-term recovery, resilience, and equity in Los Angeles County communities impacted by wildfires.

Following a thoughtful and competitive review process, the selected grantees are advancing innovative, community-centered solutions that focus on:

Anti-displacement efforts to help residents remain in their communities
Restoration of local economies to revitalize wildfire-impacted areas
Long-term resilience strategies to prepare and protect communities from future disasters

We are honored to partner with these organizations as they work to rebuild stronger, more inclusive, and more resilient communities.
