Legacy Blueprint

Legacy Blueprint

The LA County Jobs First Collaborative Legacy Blueprint is a practical transition and continuity framework for sustaining the Collaborative beyond the current California Jobs First funding period. Developed after four years of community-informed planning, partnership building, industry strategy development, and early implementation, the Blueprint identifies the governance structures, coordinating functions, investments, and partnerships needed to establish CJF-LA as durable, locally stewarded regional economic development infrastructure.

CJF-LA brings together more than 800 partners across all eight Los Angeles County Service Planning Areas, representing workforce development, industry, labor, education, government, philanthropy, and community-based organizations. The Blueprint builds on this regional network and outlines a shared path for advancing inclusive economic growth, quality jobs, industry competitiveness, and long-term climate and economic resilience.

The Blueprint includes practical tools for implementation and advocacy, including policy priorities, a regional collaboration framework, funding materials, fiscal sponsorship guidance, and resources for engaging public, private, philanthropic, and corporate partners. Together, these components provide a roadmap for preserving the progress already made and mobilizing continued investment in CJF-LA’s next phase.
